Policies & Procedure

I provide individual and couples therapy to adults (aged 18 and older) in NJ and NY via telehealth.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if she is a good fit for you.

Once the appointment is scheduled, you will be asked to complete some documents prior to the first appointment.

The first couple of sessions are spent on gathering information to gain a better understanding of you and your experiences, building a relationship, and collaboratively coming up with a treatment plan that addresses the problem for which you are seeking help.

Scheduled sessions must be cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice. Because I understand that unexpected life emergencies happen, every client is granted two waived "Grace Passes" per calendar year. Subsequent late cancellations are billed at the full session rate

Payment

I am an out-of-network provider, which means that the full session fee is due at the time of the appointment.

Payments can be made via credit card (including your health savings account card or flexible spending account card).

Many insurance plans have out-of-network coverage. Please call your insurance and ask if they offer out-of-network benefits, and if so, what their coverage is for telehealth therapy.

You should also ask about your deductible, which is the out-of-pocket expense that typically needs to be met before you can claim out-of-network benefits.

I will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance to claim out-of-network benefits or reimbursement through your health savings account or flexible spending account.
